This morning I struck a gold mind. Actually I struck a golden paper mill!!! I was lucky enough to stumble across ellynelly, a mother daughter team that makes to order an array of BIG, BEAUTIFUL, & BOLD wall designs. These wall graphics are made suitable for walls, windows, doors, mirrors and furniture. Here is what I love about these graphics most, they are crisp and clean and can add that extra punch to a room that may be lacking its 37 pieces of flair. Yeah, I just said flair…
Joanna Quits Flair style
It gets better…ellynelly uses tree friendly paper for printing that is made from 50% cotton fiber and 30% post consumer waste and even more again the paper is also made using 100% wind energy!!! WOOT WOOT, good work ladies!
Oh and here is a little more goodness for you… for a limited time they are offering a FREE PRINT with the purchase of any two!!!
You do want to express yourself don’t you? Well then, Let us see your flair! Which is your favorite or perhaps you have favorites? They are all so yummy to me, but here are a few of the wall designs that have me salivating the most!!!

4 of Minneapolis’s most innovative and inspiring artists: Isaac Arvold, Eric Inkala, John Grider, and Keiko Yagishita followed up their 2007 “Almost Famous” show with the 2009 “ALMOST HOMELESS” on March 28th at the First Amendment Gallery. Here is what you missed…

with a cherry on top
Recently at the Walker Art Museum in lovely Minneapolis Minnesota, there has been some cherry painting goodness going on. Take a walk down to the sculpture gardens and you may notice a slightly different color cherry or actually a brighter, fresher, improved cherry on the spoon in the gardens. The Spoonbridge and Cherry got is cherry refinished after 21 years of hard and cold Minnesota weather elements, and all too many photographs with tourist to count.

Not your typical Spray job…

Here is the cherry after receiving its first coat of epoxy primer

A view of the mayhem from afar. All photos by: Cameron Wittig
The Walker’s Flickr page is pretty cool. The photos above are most of my favorites. They have a link documenting both the removal of the cherry and the refinishing of the project. Apparently that cherry weighs a whopping 1,200 pounds. Ay yi yi, sounds like quite the ordeal to me. It would be interesting to discuss this project with the folks who did it. Anyone know who painted the Spoonbriges Cherry?
and with this I leave you with The Runways- Cha Cha CHERRY BOMB!!!

I’m dreaming dizzily about potentially purchasing this pin-tuck duvet cover by West Elm… Its so hard to resist at only $99 for a 100% organic cotton duvet for our new queen bed. I personally love the sea spray best for our richly dark bedroom…but really all the colors are too cozy to turn a blind eye.

Sea Spray is the middle color shown.

Oh how chilly days just beg you to keep your booty in bed and laze about in the warm covers with a good book and some tea… Mmmmm Tea sounds great about now. I think I will go fix myself a cup of some jasmine green!
